Click Chat Rooms-> Audio Video Chat in the main navigation menu.
A popup window with a list of rooms will appear.
Select the room you want to go in and click the green “Join” button.
You will see a list of members who are currently online on the right hand side.
If your browser asks permission to access your camera and microphone, click Allow if you want to participate on video, or Block if you just want to watch.
Enabling Your Webcam
Once you are in the room click the red Enable Webcam button
Your browser may ask permission to access your camera — click Allow
Your video will appear in the room and other members will be able to see you
To turn your webcam off, click the webcam button again
Enabling Your Microphone
Click the microphone icon in the room controls
Your browser may ask permission to access your microphone — click Allow
Other members will now be able to hear you
To mute yourself, click the microphone icon again
Viewing Other Members on Video
Members who have their webcam enabled will appear on screen automatically
Click on a member’s video to make it larger
If no one has their webcam on you will see their profile photo instead
Using Text Chat Within the Room
You can also send text messages inside the Audio Video room without using your camera or microphone
Look for the text box at the bottom left of the screen
Type your message and press Enter or click Send
Your message will be visible to everyone in the room
Switching Between Rooms
Click Room List in the top right corner of the chat window
